It is possible to see the beaver only if you are quiet and calm. You may notice one even during the day on the tourist route of “Ostoja Bobrowa” if you, of course follow the rules. The beginning of the route is near the seat of “Nadleśnictwo Leżajsk” and main road between Leżajsk and Sokołów Młp. The route is 4 km long and it is destined for pedestrians only. In order to cover the distance you need two or three hours, depending on the pace. It is possible to visit the animals’ exposition, to hear and watch the presentation about thirty bird species and Leżajsk’s forests. Not far from the seat you can familiarize yourself with numerous species of trees and bushes growing in the place. The route leads to a small lake with a characteristic name of “Floryda” and a few steps further you will find the beaver nests, which have been here since 1992.
