It is a folkloristic event which promotes old Polish cuisine. Women organizations’ delegation along with individual exhibitors present genuine meals generally prepared by Polish housewives. The time of tasting is whiled away with Polish and foreign folklore bands’ concerts. The housewives who have had prepared the best meals are rewarded. The event is meant to promote Polish healthy food, keeping the traditional cuisine alive and cultivation of the native folklore.
